Catherine (Kate) Hulme is the newest member of the team at Steve Ray Law. Prior to joining Steve Ray Law, Kate worked for the United States Attorney’s Office and a Greeley-based general practice firm, working to protect and compensate victims of personal and financial injuries. Kate brings a unique perspective to the practice of personal injury law in Colorado. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Kate worked in both the fields of medicine and accident reconstruction. During her tenure at Northern Illinois University College of Law, Kate successfully lobbied for an amendment to the Illinois Constitution in order to afford additional protections to the victims of crime.
Kate has experience in the areas of personal injury, products liability, construction defect litigation, complex commercial litigation, and mass tort litigation. Kate has had successful verdicts in cases involving international manufacturers such as Electrolux and Yamaha. Additionally, she is an active member in the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Larimer County Women’s Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association.
Outside of the office Kate enjoys spending time with her family, reading, camping, and watching football.
